Earlier this week, I released my new community site called devPort!

devPort is a developer focused community site meant to inspire ideas and learn new information from other developers. The site is fully dynamic is is very easy and fun to navigate around the site and post your own creations!



Game Jam 2010

So the Global Game Jam was over earlier and it was quite the event. I went in wanting to work with my girlfriend and her alone, and that happened after some time later. We had a pretty cool idea and we developed it pretty quickly so we figured we would get a decent nights rest and leave the programing/graphics for the next day. When we finally got there the next day, we had no idea how to achieve what we wanted and by that time, 24 hours had already gone by.

After some time thinking, I came up with a new idea and we started making it right away. It all came together pretty well and we finished at around 3pm, 2 hours before the official deadline. The game is called Alterobot and its a face paced platformer that challenges reflexes. Hope you enjoy it!
